Tiny complicated tale

It was only when he proposed to her that night, she realized that he was waiting for her to propose.

Cliffs' callin'

There’s something about the cliffs that pulls me towards its edges

Ignoring all the ‘ifs’ & the ‘buts’, ignoring the shudders in the spine

Listening to those gusts of wind and still listening to my heart beat

Inching closer to the unfamiliar, familiar with every inch in my body

Finally when my eyes plunged in to the infinity, the time stood still!

Rainy afternoons

There’s this thing about rainy afternoons that pours into the evenings

Spilling over from the window sill fading into the pages of an old book

Sieved & splintered by those big rain drops into a million smithereens

a serene amber light slowly filling up the space around & within me!

A tiny tale of words

As her own words threatened to reveal her past, the author reminded herself, it's just a story!
